Its a seat Frank made out of old railway sleepers and then the metal work placed as handles to create 5 individual seats. What was #4? Not the toy but the rest of it?
Looks like some form of ladder but on its side???

Ah. Thank you. Lucky they have placed it facing the setting sun!Its a seat Frank made out of old railway sleepers and then the metal work placed as handles to create 5 individual seats.
Yes indeed.Ah. Thank you. Lucky they have placed it facing the setting sun!
There is a facility to get the sun right in the middle. It's called Photoshop!
Other than that try Photographer's Ephemeris. The desk top version is free but you have to pay for the mobile version.

That looks ace Frank!A very quick and rough play around gives you perfect symmetry!!!!

That is a very cool shot. Beautiful colourThanks Stuart. It was very rough and ready. The problem you have is that the sun is only in that position twice every year so your chances of getting that exact shot are slim.
Take a shot of the bench, and take a shot of the sunset with the sun low down and central. The lighting conditions will be the same in both shots. Then all you need to do is play around with layers and masks.
Here is one I prepared earlier. Sunset was way over to the right of the sculpture...in the beginning.

Wasn't Fuji. sorry. That was the last time I used my 5D3. After using the X-T1 for 3 months I got the Canon out, and realised how much better the Fooj was. There's a bit of processing gone on in there as well!!!An amazing capture........wOOw. Which lens + body did you use for this?

Yes, I regret selling mine it doesn't get the credit it deserves. When I look back my favourite setup was probably Fuji xt10 with the 18 and 35.It's looking like I'm picking up the 18 f2. Found them here in Bangkok for £166 new. Gotta be worth a punt at that price?
Well, remember I asked a couple of pages ago about whether to use the XT1 or 750D on holiday and you all said, the D750 because you've only adapted lenses ... well silly sod that I am I took the XT1 anyway, well in fairness I did get an 18-135 first and really enjoyed it.
I've not processed anything yet but loved the raw panos that I've got to play with - not a feature I've had so easily before and it worked much better than I expected.
Hopefully I'll have something to post soon, lots of boring landscapes I'm afraid, but I was in the lakes![]()

Dexter playing Ball by Andrew Duxbury, on FlickrI recently sold quite a few lenses and now I'm left with the 23 and 56 (55-200 currently up for sale). I did sell my 56 a few months ago as it didn't use it that much but there's something about it.
Its great for dog shots when he doesn,t move!!

Great shots! I must use my 60mm more as it's a really versatile lens if you accommodate its slowish focus.Excuse the mass post. I have been taking pics using my new 60mm lens. Interesting change after few months of using a 27.

Well, a page or two ago I promised a pics, well - have three versions
The worst thing is v1 isn't even the SOOC, that was much darker and washed out so a bit of work was needed, so I came up with this (BTW sorry for the large size, its a pano so needed it)

Then I threw it up for a crit both here and with some friends - nothing here (edit - just got one), but my mates gave a couple of suggestions.
So, for the first version I brought up the foreground and lightened some of the darker clouds to remove that two cloud level feel.
- I found the two layers of cloud neither of which are level to be confusing to the eye and possibly the foreground to be a bit dark.
- Black and white that baby.

Then for the B&W I took the the colour redo and plugged it onto Silver Efex Pro, applied dark sepia global with the addition of applying Acros film simulation then using a control point brought the central area back up - I did try pure B&W but the sepia worked better for me.

For me the B&W(ish) version works best but I really would have loved a colour version that popped enough.
Oh and if anything were to get me to buy the X-T2 it would be Acros after that (and if the continuous AF was usable)
Great pooch pic!
B&W for me too I think, but I am a sucker for B&W. Have we seen any samples of Acros on the XT2 yet? I can see me liking it a lot too!
My favourite. Those colours just shout out for being displayed....and the version suggested by @MattyW - thank you - or rather my interpretation of it.

Try Trade Canvas Print - I think they do any size (up to a limit of course)To be honest thats why I'm doing so many versions of this shot - I've not yet been through all the shots from the week away yet but when I saw that one and the lighting I thought I might actually have something I'd like to put on the wall that wasn't the kids.
Its a bit of an odd size though so I'd have to find somewhere where I wouldn't need to mess with it again just to make it fit their templates, and hopefully somewhere that doesn't cost the earth, but thats a battle for another day.
