The XF8 is too small to be anything better than a close up fill in flash.
I use a Yongnuo YN560IV plus a YN560TX
The TC unit allows control of the flash when it is off camera.
Here's a sample of off camera flash

That's good!
Unless you are an excessively anal gear freak then it's fast enough for all normal use.Final question before I make the decision wether do the complete switch.
In all honesty is the AF quick such as with the 18-55 kit lens and the 50-140. I don't expect be as lightening fast as the d750 but is it quick like the a7ii

Why do you want to switch from the D750?
More light compact gear such as the 50-140 2.8 over the Nikon 70-200 vrii
But if I am best staying out then I will.
Depends what the issue is with the D750. I changed from a full frame Canon EOS 6D, primarily for the size/weight advantage at first. However, the Fuji system is just sooo nice to use, and looks very cool of courseWouldn't swap back for daily usage!
Lenses are all sharp from wide open, but with sharp lenses on each, the IQ from the Nikon system will likely be better, particularly if you are shooting RAW into Adobe products. This is particularly true if you're shooting landscapes for some reason (my 6D is sharper and has that clinical full frame look when pixel peeping). So long as you don't pixel peak, the Fuji is fine. Be aware also that high ISO is noisy at ISO6400, the Nikon will be cleaner and provide more detailed output. X Pro 2 looks to have improved in both respects.
When you say shooting raw from Nikon being better you saying that LR still doesn't cope well with the xt1 raw files? Though this has been sorted in Adobe update?
The biggest difference is the handling. For me the T10 was just that bit too small, even with a grip.Just looking for a bit of advice guys. Is the X-T1 a major step up from the X-T10, or is the biggest difference just the weather sealing?
Something I hadn't even considered and would like to get my hands on both tbh. I need to find somewhere that actually has them now though! The biggest difference is the handling. For me the T10 was just that bit too small, even with a grip.
A few years ago I'd have lived about 15 minutes away from ffordes! Sadly I'm in Glasgow now so a bit more difficult, though Calumet is certainly doable. Will pop in there one day and see what's what. CheersCalumet? Jessops? Can you get up to Ffordes?
DSCF7870 by Robert Palmer-Wilson, on FlickrNice mono shot, love the clouds.Had a very enjoyable day in London with Mickledore and robsea yesterday, had a wander from King's Cross to Canary Wharf and Greenwich and then onto St Paul's to finish the day.

Could anyone kindly send me some raw files in different ISO that I can try out pls??
Have you been taking your medicine?Quite like that, actually. If I take my glasses off it's almost straight.![]()
Have you been taking your medicine?
If so, can I have some as well?

Another thing Andrew, when I swapped from the XT1 to the D750, IMO the JPEG's were a lot nicer from the Fuji over the Nikon which I commented on in the early part of the D750 thread.. It's something to bare in mind, if you can't be arsed on PP work.
Many posts back in this thread it was sort of agreed that mirrorless in general and Fuji in particular will match a DSLR over 80% of their operations. What you have to decide is can you live without the other 20% and have all the benefits of mirrorless or are you just looking for a lighter and cheaper DSLR?
Only you know the answer to that one.
I'm not a Fuji user (Sony FF and MFT for me) but I think that MFT and APS-C systems are maybe a lot closer to full frame (than being 20% short) with the following caveats...
- Don't expect FF quality if you pixel peep at 100% plus.
- Don't expect to be able to print quite as large and look quite as closely as you would with FF.
- Don't expect FF quality at the very high ISO that are available today.
- Don't expect quite the dynamic range you get with (other than Canon) FF.
- Don't expect FF shallow DoF, although for me this is pretty much a non issue.
Generally I think that the newer non FF systems give very good image quality.

So what the DR like on this Fuji if it nothing do with FF pls
Whilst I love the output of my D800, I love the look, feel and using the XT1. I'm a Fuji fanboy I believe [emoji38]
