Well I've just done you a big favour. I tried it. Autobracket and 2 second timer delay. Worked fine. Easy.

what do most people use for remote release on XT10,the iOS App? does a cordless remote exist otherwise and what are the recommended corded releases,Fuji's own?

I have the remote cable JJC MA-R for my X30 but not sure that will work with an X10? I use the JJC ES628F3 wireless for the X30, too but again I have no idea whether that will work with an X10.

What are the sockets? 2.5mm jack plug and micro USB on X-T1. I have an old Canon remote that fits the 2.5mm jack plug, and bought a cheapo from Jack the Hat for the micro USB. I also use a pair of Yopngnuo 603 Mk2 triggers as remotes. One on the hotshoe wired into the 2.5mm jack and th other ine my hand. Was using this from one side of last night's shot to the other so range isn't a problem.

Just done some googling (I'm helping you today). The X-T10 uses the RR-90 same as the X-T1. Here's a good cheapo copy.
I haven't seen the socket setup so don't know if there's a jack plug as well. Maybe you could take a peek and let us know?

I am now officially senile!! Ahhh! I read your post as X10! Both the ones I quoted above should work fine on your XT10. They both work on my X-T1 and X30.

You can take landscapes with any focal length lens!!!

Do you have the 18-55 or 16-50 already??

I'm having a long email discussion with some local togs who don't know how to do star trails. My advice to them as it is to you is to go out and try it. Until you find what the lens cannot do for you it is safe to assume that it will take decent quality landscape shots.
Remember the most important part of the camera system is approx 6 inches behind the viewfinder.

What's wrong with that? It's a touch over exposed but that's not the fault of the lens.

I promise not to post any more of my garden but I've just done one myself without HDR,which one do you prefer out of the 3 if you don't mind me asking,it will help me get a better idea i think.

Started off in lightroom. Downed the exposure a bit, upped the contrast a bit, reduced the highlights, upped the shadows, adjusted clarity and vibrance to suit. Went into Photoshop and adjusted the levels bringing the whites in and then de saturated the greens. Easy - once you know how, but like evefrything else all it takes is practice. And that was on the JPEG. Could have done more on the RAW.

That's a serious fence at the bottom of your garden. To keep you in or to keep you out?

They are on the one I have here. I suspect it's the compression to fit on here that has reduced the quality a bit.

That was a light grad in Lightroom, then processed in Silver Efex Pro starting with my gritty north filter!!!

Anyway back to @SsSsSsSsSnake , heres one @mickledore took in the 1970's and left in the bottom of that damp cupboard in the shed. He was obviouslyt after that J Arthur Dixon postcard look......

Nik Color Efex and Nik Analog Efex, both part of the Nik Suite, now owned by Google, don't use them often but they now come free with Silver Efex Pro (the best b/w tool IMHO on the market), so occasional ly I dig them out. You can go quite extreme, as this image I did of a vintage cash register did, I even got accussed on one forum of photographing an old postcard (until I put the original up!!!)

Quite simple really.
Yongnuo YN560 on camer flash but head twisted 180 degrees to fire behind me and onto a white wall/ceiling (creates a big diffused light source)
Processing wise its a blend of a coloured layer and a monochrome layer with the mono layer opacity reduced to 40% to let the colour bleed through slightly.

Hey all! I was thinking of picking up a Fuji X-T10 to replace my Canon 7D as a second camera for weddings (my primary being a Canon 6D and assorted EF lenses). Would the X-T10 with XF 18-55 be any good for this purpose? I've read nothing but good reviews, but would like some honest opinions from you lot.
