The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I did. I had the EM1 with 12-40 and a Panny 100-300. I sold my XT1 just after I bought the Oly, but regretted it instantly.
Ended up buying another XT1 a while ago.
I've just been looking through my Xt1 images and comparing them to similar EM1 images and IQ is better in every XT1 shot. Not by much though, but one thing that stands out is that finer detail is resolved better, which is great for me because I tend to crop a lot.
There are a few YouTube videos comparing the EM1 and XT1 side by side. Might be worth a search?
Thanks for the helpful reply. Ill take a look at the videos.

What a day waited an hour in the freezing cold for the Flying Scotsman and it was running backwards. Decided to go later to be of the stations to get a front end view through the tunnel and waited 45 minutes train came camera wouldn't shoot!!! The memory card said no frame number so had to format the card. Managed to get this one but will go back for more tomorrow or next week. I have an E-M1 here at the moment, been using it for a while but no match for the X-T1/10.

It does win out for long glass and for long exposures it has some exceptional features such as Live Composite which I personally do not have the skill to do manually. Everything else is a win for Fuji though, especially image quality and high ISO performance.

Tracey Curtis-Taylor, 53, set off in her 1942 Boeing Stearman Spirit of Artemis aircraft from Farnborough, Hampshire, in October. She retraced pioneer Amy Johnson's 1930 flight, flying over 23 countries and making some 50 refuelling stops.

Just thought it would be the right time to put these two shots in. Nothing special I just like them.

For 2106 no new lenses or bodies (with the only proviso that like for like replacement should anything break)...Done (and it's a leap year!)...I look forward to 1/1/17 and my free pint:pint:

There it's in print now, only 357 days to sweat it out...

OK agreed. Now what should I have? A pint of whisky methinks!!!

Very apt George, the first picture especially :)

8,14,23,35,56,60,90,18-55,18-135,50-230.... 10 lenses as well.....I promised myself no more this year!

Didn't realise we were counting zooms as well :D

OK, I'm up to 2 x X-T1 and an X-E2 with 12,18,27,35,56,16-50,18-55,50-230,55-200 and a Lens Turbo II with a 135 on it xD

I have issues.

Seems my XF lens line up will soon be up for sale, keeping my X bodies etc...

10-24
35
56
90
50-140
55-200

You've already boomeranged once, you know you'll be doing it again!!! Some of your X series shots have been really inspirational, and that's the subject matter and the composition, not the technical specification of the camera, more pixels does not equate to better pictures, don't succumb to GAS.......

I would love a 35 1.4 to pair with either an XT10 or XT-1 depending on which I buy.

Thanks for the reply. Certainly the last two points are interesting to me. Im so tempted with a used XT-10 or a grey :)

Thinking of changing my lens lineup as I currently have :

18
35 1.4
18-135
50-230

Also have an X100S

I've been impressed with the 18-135 so may get rid of the 18 and change if for a Samyang 12mm as I don't use the 18mm often and thinking of changing the 35 1.4 to the 35 F2 so I have another weather sealed lens plus its meant to be faster. Would also like the 56 1.2 but i've spend too much recently so this is probably one for the future.

Anyone got the Samyang 12mm or changed the 35 1.4 to the new 35 f2?

I have just purchased a 35mm F2 from someone off of here and will have it with me by Tuesday hopefully so will post up some samples :) reviews all over the web look promising though!
Also purchased a 56mm from another member, I won't know what to do when they both turn up!
