The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Nice one, which XF glass do you have Martin ?

Thanks one and all.

To begin with I picked up the Xf 18-55 f2.8-4 and the 27 2.8. I'm sure my journey won't end there tho.

Decided to purchase the 18-135 whilst the 30% Amazon deals were on and I'm pretty impressed with this lens.

Not great pictures but from behind a window at 18mm and then full zoom at 135 the detail is pretty good.

It's an excellent lens, almost taking over from my 18-55

Great set of images Martin @Mart61 , well seen with good detail and really nice B&W conversions.(y)

George.

Thanks guys. You're too kind. I was hoping for something a little better but it was a grey day with grey skies.

Loving the XF10-24mm f/4 lens, shot this today whilst out for a country walk close to Callander (Stirling, Central Scotland).

Was planning a day on Leyland Motors disused Test Track but my mates refused to go outside - softies!
Went into Liverpool and did a montage of the Stations of the Cross (Google it - I had to!) from the inside of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Yes, Paddy's Wigwam.
White balance is all over the place even though I held up a white card and took a test shot every time. Every one of the sculptures had different light conditions. I got frustrated and nearly converted the whole thing to mono!

Oh my, just cracked and bought an X-T10. Been having a real shake up of my photo kit for the new year and decided it was finally time to trade in the X-E1 (which will shortly be up for sale), I had a play with the X-T10 and the X-T10 side by side in a very patient camera shop today and decided that for my purposes the X-T10 was the one! Will be arriving by Wednesday hopefully :D

Excellent :) will be a noticeable upgrade from the X-E1!

Sorry if this has been asked before but which of these 2 would be best for the XT1 with a Nikon SB800 please? Any advice appreciated

I know nowt about Nikon but use the Canon variety of these. There was a post several pages back from someone who said that they used these for Nikon with no problem. Try sweeping back; it wasn't long ago in time but posts on here are prolific!
Assuming that they work on a Fuji-Nikon basis then one on the hotshoe and one under the flash should be right, but you will only get manual flash. No ETTL.
Both seem to be the same apart from the connecting cables which presumably are for different Nikon connections. Don't think that will matter too much unless you want to use the units as remote triggers.
I mainly use mine as remote triggers with one on the hotshoe and the other in my hand. You will need a cable with a 2.5mm jack plug on each end. Evilbay has millions. Plug it into the side of tha camera and set both units to TRX and away you go.

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. I'll go with the RF-603NII-N1. Cant go wrong at £21 :) Thanks again

Thats a nice looking camera! Always liked the Graphite, actually had one for a short time.

My hipster credentials have hit new levels with this one! I've literally only bought it because it looks good. The black one was fine :D

My heart tells me that I want a second body but my head says I don't.
There's one for sale in the classifieds for £500 that tempts me, but I keep thinking the price of new ones will fall when the Xpro 2 comes out. Plus there's the X-T2 which will be an improvement when it appears but will it be worth the premium? Prices of X-T1 will undoubtedly fall then.
That graphite does give me the urge though!
