The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

To continue the theme, I have got six, yes you heard it right SIX lens wipes for my Fuji gear. Even better that leaves twenty remaining from the box of twenty six (there's that number again) I bought in Superdrug for £1.26

Here's another thing, when I go out photoing the favourite tune on my walkman is........

"Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number,
Its number is Six hundred and sixty six

Even the shutter goes clickety click (this ones a bit more subtle)

Does that make me a six maniac?

How on earth did you get that shot?

I mentioned earlier that I was having problems getting my drp kit to work with the mirrorless system. Sorted the problem. A good shot everytime now.
All I have to do is improve the quality of shot, but now I know it can be done.

Thanks-Joe

Wow! Love that. Which lens did you use?

Apparently, Fuji Rumors are reporting a new Fuji XT-1 firmware 4.2 coming on the 17th December?

"
The free, comprehensive firmware update coming on December 17 is specially designed for the FUJIFILM X-T1 and FUJIFILM X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition, and will give users thrilling new features and controls to dramatically enhance their X-T1 shooting experience, including:

1. Instant AF Setting in manual focus – Focus and exposure can now be locked when the AF-L button is used in manual focus mode. You can shoot after locking AF and AE with your thumb.

2. AF+MF operation with AF-L button – The AF-L button can be used to lock focus in AF+MF mode and you can adjust the focus more accurately using the lens’s focusing ring.

3. Focus zoom in AF+MF – The FOCUS ASSIST button can be used for focus zoom and fine tuning focus using the lens’s focusing ring with focus zoom activated.

4. Flashgun in Bracketing/Continuous Shooting – Optional flashguns can now be used for bracketing and burst photography. When using the EF-X8, which is bundled with the X-T1, the flash fires in ISO, FILM SIMULATION and WHITE BALANCE BKT modes.

5. Additional Custom Display Options – Functions have been added to the DISPLAY CUSTOM SETTING option in the setup menu. Users can choose what they want, then concentrate on shooting. Additional options include: Focus frame/Shooting mode / Information background /Focus mode/Shutter Type/Continuous mode/Dual IS mode/Movie mode /Blur warning

6. Fn7 Button – The movie-record button now doubles as an Fn button (Fn7). Press and hold DISP/BACK to select what it controls"

Not bad

Edit: Ok, just noticed it has already been posted. Damn you excitement ;)

Cough, cough. Post 9789:jawdrop::banghead::banghead::banghead:

You mean you didn't start out with a Zenit B?
I thought everyone had to have one of those. Heavier than a DSLR!
LOL That was my 2nd 35mm camera Well the Zenit E was with Hellios 58mm f2.0 :) I started my 35mm photography with a Kiev 4 with f2.0 lens.

Am I right in thinking that this translates into having back-button focus in the two auto-focus modes as well as in MF?

Is it not? Which bit? The glass or the spike?

The glass isn't level...although have you straightened and replaced the shot?

I'm just a bit fussy, I may have emailed a certain beer company to inform them their horizon isn't isn't straight on the banner on the top of their website... :$
