LOL me too, I saw an unused 27mm on Ebay for a good price and my GAS reflex kicked in, it's not a focal length (prime) I've used before, but its tiny so it should get plenty of use.Yes, the noise of the 27mm took me a little by surprise but I guess it's something you get used to in time.
I bought it on a whim from the classifieds so I'm not sure yet if I'll keep it or not.
I like the XT1 in black, but I bought the Silver (graphite) as it's more in keeping with the retro vibe. I'm loving it, but sometimes I look at the black version and wonder ?The silver suits the the X-T10 because they haven't plastered all the rear of the camera in it. A big improvement imo and would definately be the colour of choice for me if i were to have one. A bit like a X100/X-E series cam.
But the X-T1 belongs in black imo. Much better.
Also, agree with Tim about the exposure comp in manual mode...
I hate that, but love it at the same time LOL New toysThe long wait on the courier.....

It'll no doubt be the longest day ever known to man. Ever. The long wait on the courier.....

The problem with Jpeg is everytime you tweak a parameter you introduce more noise, Raw preserves the parameters like a profile. I thought that was the point? Or are fuji raws different? Thanks
No Raw from any camera is without noise. I said, the main benefit of Raw on Fuji is at high iso you can be very precise with noise reduction.
XT1body and gripI hate that, but love it at the same time LOL New toysWhat are you waiting for ?
Weather is dreiche unfortunately. Batteries all at the readyMake sure you have an X-E2 battery charged so that no time is wasted when it arrives. How's the weather looking up there today?
I didn't say raws have no noise, what I mean is everytime you go back to edit a Jpeg you introduce new noise because you're editing what is essentially a photo of a photo, it's flat and destructable. A raw file is supposed to preserve your edits so that they can be undone or tweaked further, a thousand times if needs be and without adding more noise. A Jpeg will only stand so much before you notice degradation.
Dude are you just arguing for the sake of it because your'e not even remotely talking about the same issue from post to post - the question was whether Lightroom was any good for editing Fui Raw files originally, and I answred with my observations on doing just that very specifically.
If you want to try a little game them have a look at my flickr photostream, on the first page there are 12 shots from Raw the rest are all JPEG. See if you can guess which (And 2 are not from an XT1).
The older sensor is nicer to work with in PP imo. The colours seem better to me and Lr doesn't completely transform them on import like it's capable of with the newer sensor.
Really like my little X-E1. The X-T is starting to feel a bit neglected.![]()
Wex have my silver xt-10, delivery tomorrow!!! [emoji3][emoji3]
Courier between 2.30 and 3.30 so at least can relax now

Or lob the package over your back fence !!!Only an hour until they push the slip through your letterbox and run off down your drive.
If we're talking Lightroom then edits are totally non destructive - raw or JPEG!I didn't say raws have no noise, what I mean is everytime you go back to edit a Jpeg you introduce new noise because you're editing what is essentially a photo of a photo, it's flat and destructable. Which grip is it? I'm still thinking about one, but don't want to pay up for the Fuji model.Must admit that i am impressed with the cheapo grip that Karen has sent me for my X-E1so i think I'm going to get one for my X-T.
