Also going to pay for CC... Bluuuuuuuurrrrrgggghhhh.
Pay??
Yuk...
Oh well, I did download it on my pc but was going to wait anyway till the official release. I have a job on Saturday and don't want things to go wrong
funnily enough I bought the graphite but once the initial excitement wore off, I wish I had just got the black version. Something about the graphite tint that just looks completely false. Now i am wondering if to go for XT-1 graphite, works out £844 with the £75 rebate & the £80 trade in bonus![]()

I use CC and it's a good deal for £7odd a month!
search adobe Fiji discount not sure if it's running anymore thoughThinking I may as well get it but price I find is £8.57 a month, is there a discount code knocking around anywhere?
TIA
I used CS2 and now CS5. I've tries LR but I hated it as it seemed to me to be heavily biased towards cataloguing images with the processing side being tucked away on a cobweb covered shelf at the back.
They've stopped updating CS5 now so I have to convert my GX7 and G7 files to DNG and it slows the whole thing down so I have been tempted to pay for CC and indeed I tried to trial it but it doesn't like something on my PC and it craps out every single time. I do feel very reluctant to give Adobe any more money as I feel I got royaly shafted with both CS2 and 5. I had problems with CS2 when changing PC's and Adobe just shut the door and what felt like about a millisecond after I paid £600 for CS5 they stopped updating it so I really don't want to give them another penny but looking at it in cold hard economics and taking the emotion, well actually hatred out of it, I think that CC is actually not too bad a deal. Unless they think of a way to shaft customers in the future.
I've said it a few times in here, the silver/graphite doesn't suit the X-T1. The silver suits the rangefinder style cameras and the new X-T10 because it doesn't cover a the back of the camera. The Oly E-M1 is the same when it is in its silver guise.
Have you tried MetaRAW yet? It converts to DNG on the fly and is free to try. I'm using it with cs4 for all my camera files. Occasionally. LR is my main tool now I've got my head around it![]()
It does although i think the menu's could be a little different from something that Rico said. No idea though. The X-T10's are out there, no idea if they're in the UK yet though. Seen a few pics of peoples that they have been posting. Look nice for sure.
As for initial thoughts, no idea, only just done it. Off to try it with some duckyboo's.

To much of a chicken to try it,till the official V4 come out,as for the XT-10 no one seem to no where the UK stocks are![]()
When is the 'official' V4.0 firmware out? Its like waiting for christmas!
Ok ok. No need to rub it in!I've said it a few times in here, the silver/graphite doesn't suit the X-T1. The silver suits the rangefinder style cameras and the new X-T10 because it doesn't cover a the back of the camera. The Oly E-M1 is the same when it is in its silver guise.
A little part of me was hoping to get a call from Wex today. Guessing you were too. Hopefully won't be long.
Well the x-t10 looks nice from the pics I've seen that people have posted.
Does that help?
Got some runners to post aswell but it might be tomorrow now.
It's quite good.
Has anyone ever compared an XT-1 with 23mm lens and an X100S/T? just wondering what the IQ would be like between them. I know the 23mm is an f1.4 but really tempted by a used x100s instead of forking out for the 23mm.
Just a thought.....
