Hubby has the large grip on his X-T1 and I have the medium on mine, I prefer the medium using the 50-140.

1, 2 & 3 were shot with my Carl Zeiss 35mm f2.4 Flektogon then taken into Lightroom and they have the 'Astia/Soft' profile added to them.
4, 5 & 6 were shot with the new 50-140mm f2.8 all wide open (you didn't expect anything else did you??) with no additional sharpening added (default 25 in Lightroom) to test for sharpness. #4 was to try out the OIS with a slow shutter. Again, with 'Astia/Soft' profile added in Lr. Will try lower and see what results i get. #5 was testing mid zoom range and for chromatic abberations against bright back light. #6 demonstrates compression and shallow dof then Fuji's Monochrome profile added in Lr.
 
Never mind the lens I've not got the body yet lol

How are you focusing Barry? I use the focus peaking assist and find it pretty accurate. With my e-m10 i could do a better job of tracking with an old 30+ year old lens than the camera could with a moderb af lens using af-c. :D

Yeah using peaking assist... tbf, the auto focus on Fuji lenses can't keep up with her anyway! She's not a poser, as soon as the camera comes out she's legs it/gurns/shuts her eyes! Need to catch her by surprise. Liking the lens though :)
 
Is there only certain lenses the extension tubes canbe used with? Always seems to be the 35mm when people mention them

No, the extension tubes can be used on any lens. The amount of extension you need is related to the focal length, so the 11mm will be better suited to the 35mm and shorter lenses, but it will still be useful on any lens. I don't want to turn my 56 into a macro, but getting closer focus will be good, so the 11mm will suit my needs.
 
Not planning on going wider than 16mm anyway for now so should be ok
 
Looking at getting a Fuji XT before July, any sign of XT1 replacement in next few months? Cheers
 
Thinking picking up the xt1 18-135 combo up then when allowed get the 27mm

How is ISO 6400 with the 18-135??

But interested see a 6400 ISO shoot. What ISO you go mac to normally
 
There are some in this thread already. Why do you want to leave from the d750?
 
Want something more compact and just one system for everything I think... Otherwise I have to buy a compact camera but they don't perform as good? Was think Fuji XQ1
 
Fair enough. Why not just get a Fuji x100t to go with the d750 for when you want compact
