The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I like this a lot. Scary s***

You could easily lose that bottom one in post though.

Good point, I never thought of that tbh: I kind of got stuck on “must get them all in the shot” - I was thinking from the point of plane nerd who would be all “Well I think you’ll find that the Red Arrows have nine planes actually” :)

There's always generative fill... ;)

Hello. Any recommendations for an L bracket for an XT-5 please that gives access to cards and USB ports.

Many thanks, as always:)

Haven't got one myself, but a few peeps have got the smallrig one.

I was going to suggest the 3 Legged Thing one, as I've always found their stuff to be good - I have a tripod, and I had an Ellie universal L-bracket on my old camera. The L-bracket for the X-T5 is £99 though!! I have a Smallrig grip on my X-T4, and it's very good - was a lot cheaper than £99 too! They do one with an integrated L-bracket and one without (I actually have both, because I'm an idiot).

EDIT: here's the Smallrig one: https://www.smallrig.com/uk/SmallRig-Cage-L-plate-for-FUJIFILM-X-T5-4137.html

I’ve got the joy of an upcoming visit to Legoland in the near future so I’ve used it as an excuse to pick this up. Didn’t really want to be lugging the XH2 around :)

Just needs a thumb grip.
And a mist filter.
And a nice leather strap.

I've never resorted to grips on the X100 series, on the older models where EC had to be adjusted on the dial, they just get in the way.

Also I'm not sure that the Original/S/T versions need a mist filter, the F was a significant step up in sharpness

I'll agree about the strap.

Maybe I've got a good one then. I'm pretty sure I can adjust EC okay.

Düsseldorf this week and the view from my room. Not sure the framing works…
