Hi All,

I just thought I'd just share with you my first attempt at making a short action film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx5Jwtw-W0o

This was done for my first college assignment and I was quite pleased with the results, although, I am very self-critical and think many things could definitely be improved on - but I guess we all learn from our mistakes! :)

*This was filmed on a 600D with the kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8, and it was edited using Premiere Pro and After Effects, all done in about 2 months*

Thanks for your time! :)

Thought it was excellent. Early on the cinematogrphy was excellent. Very good filming. Then I lost it a little? To much story. To much going on for me but decent. I was intrigued early on then it went slightly o.t.t. Excellent filming in parts though well done.

Thanks for your kind comments, Bleo :) A part of the project brief was to have a strong storyline throughout - but perhaps I did go a little over the top with this one haha

I really enjoyed watching that, great camera work twinned with a solid edit. The only downside was it runs a little long, I was always waiting for the next scene to happen. Great job overall..

Thank you very much for your feedback, Grizu - I appreciate it :)

Hi Everyone, just been informed that my short film has been selected into an online contest as one of the "coolest" videos on YouTube in recent weeks and I'd really appreciate anyone's help by counting your vote - basically the video with the most likes (out of the 9 selected) wins a small prize at the end of next week.

If you have a YouTube Account then you can vote by:

1. Signing into your YouTube Account
2. Opening this link on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSkqfdZS690
3. Pressing the "LIKE" button just underneath the video (on YouTube) - and that's it!

I think I'm in 2nd place at the moment, but to be honest, I'm grateful for just being a part of the contest and any votes in my favour would just be a bonus - thanks in advance! :-)
