I have discovered The Elixier of Life

Do you want to know what prevents you ever getting ill, keeps you from catching infections or germs? I present to you, the cure of illness and assisting in long life... Tennents Super.

What's that I hear you say? That's a tramps drink? How can a very strong beer be the answer to health and long life? Well let me explain some facts.

1. Yes tramps do drink it, but have you ever stopped to wonder how they can reach the age of 90 while surviving against the elements and are exposed daily to germs, bacteria and infection that would kill off the average person?

2. I started drinking it in 2002 and I have NEVER come down with any illnesses, colds or flu's, including swine flu even when my family went down with swine flu I stayed with them the whole time breathing in their contagious breath.

3. I stopped drinking Tennents a year and a half ago due to high price rises, £8 for 4 cans now, and guess what? In the last year and a half I have been catching every illness, cold and flu nature has thrown at me.

3. It defies science. If you put a half opened can of tennents in the fridge and return the following evening, the can is still fizzy as if you just opened it. Science says that by the loss of pressurization, the carbonated fizz should go flat between 3-5 hours... but Tennents doesn't after 24 hours.

So there you go, the answer has been found, but because homeless people are the only ones drinking it, nobody else has stopped to notice its life preserving properties.

Or maybe they're 25 but just look 90. ;)

I don't not drink tennants because tramples drink it.

I don't drink it because it is mass produced tasteless pelt.

Get some cask ale in you and live a little

Fred west used to drink it all the time... after a hard days work he'd relax in his chair and say " Rose , I could really murder some tennents" :coat:

I've been drinking it every night for the last 163 years and it's good stuff............

Keeps me sane! ;)

"9%... Please drink responsibly". Oh how i chuckled...

it takes a while to get used to, but after a while i started to like it, but all in all I used it because it got me where i needed to go fast.

you needed to wind up sleeping on a parkbench covered in newspaper ? - odd lifestyle choice

but all in all I used it because it got me where i needed to go fast.

Where to the bog  or did you put it in the fuel tank of the car?

If you need to get drunk, you have a problem.want to get there fast? add a can of white lightning cider to what's left of the tennents and enjoy a snakebite...

I dont NEED to get drunk. I just dont go out and spend £30 and spend all night doing it. Back in the day when they were £4 for 4 cans I could get drunk fast and enjoy a friday evening

i generally find I enjoy a friday evening more if I can still speak, dance, and chat girls up without dribbling - I'd rather spend a few quid on a few pints and make them last while being erudite, charming, and sociable, than neck four cans of tennents (or any other silly strength lager) before I go out and come across like an annoying P ...head all evening.

It strikes me that you are saying you do need to get drunk to have a good time ... and that isnt a good thing
