After all the hype,I still managed to forget all about it :bonk:,so one for the iplayer
Anyone see it and was it any good ?
 
I actually like the new Doctor Who. Matt does have that outer-worldly look about him, in fact, his deep set eyes kinda reminded me of Deep Space Nine's Odo.
The re-designed interior of the TARDIS is so much better, it has that more traditional look about it.

So yes, it's got a thumbs up from me. :thumbs: Even though I am a Tom Baker man.
 
Wasn't a nun and a nurse mentioned, too?

Anyway, she entered the Tardis in her nighty...

I thought it was OK.
Not the best storyline, but it was only the series opener. Looking at the trailers seems like there's some good stuff to come :thumbs:

as for the nighty,,, which women wear them now???? its all tight tops and spongebob square pants :love:


first episode was a bit of a dribble storywise, lets see how it progresses.
 
i loved it.
i spotted the short skirt on the "policewoman" in about a nanosecond. then stared at it for the rest of the prog.

i reckon theres a quirkyness in this doctor thats been mising for a while.
didnt reckon much when i found out who the new doctor ws gonna be.
definitely aprove now ive seen him in action.
 
Massive who fan here ,watching since i was nine ,
I really liked the new episode , I think the tardis looks even better too.
Matt is being brilliant so far , looking forward to the new series very much

As they were running past the duck pond did anyone else notice Amy jump over the small fence, stop, pull her skirt down then carry on running :lol:

I thought it was OK as an opening episode

Going into the new season i had my doubts, David Tennant was fantastic as the Doctor.
But this Matt Smith guy seems to be doing alright, quite a character. Not keen on the outfit ***, a bit too old school. New Tardis, new darleks...coulda done with some newer clothes :-p Maybe gone to Primark or something haha

oh and the new assistant, Amy Pond....damn she is fit :clap:

I still think they're darlek classics but now tv is in colour

nah they were definately an updated version, a lot more chunkier and now in a nice variety of colours. Maybe they couldnt find people small enough for the old ones so they made them for the bigger person :shrug:
