The Daily Weather Forecast!

Hi! I'm still here, haha. I'm more of a lurker rather than a poster, however it is true that I have been neglecting this fine web site of late! However it does warm the cockles of my heart knowing that I am being missed. :D

Anyhow, as far as today's weather is concerned, indeed it does seem I've got today's spot on. It's been blowing a blizzard here at Folkestone in the past couple of hours. Woke up to nothing more than a dusting this morning, and now it's all thick cover (around 3 inches, but it's all fine powder stuff and are piling up to foot-tall drifts in this bitter, bitter cold strong wind!).

Looks like there'll be some more of that to come for the South of England for tonight and lasting into tomorrow. Then things should become a little less cold and not quite so wintry as we go into the weekend.

However, I have a feeling that we won't be hearing the last of this snow!

Hey, good to 'see' you matey

We have had an enormous downpour overnight. I think this may be worse than January's lot
I got to try and get to work shortly.
25 mile motorway journey.

I'm scared :D

Now, I now a lot of you are getting a bit bored of winter . . . even though officially the "winter" season hasn't even started!
So, rather than me depress you with news of more possible snowy spells in the run up to Christmas AND through the festive period itself, here's a cartoon to cheer you up a little.

The idea and cartoon is all out of my head so I like to think that this one is quite unique!

missed this topic first time around, so I've added your site to my favourites - cheers!

Personally I think they deserve it ;)
Got a mate in the USA and apparently they are referred to as "paid liars" out there :D
