Good idea, me and my mate have plans to snatch the torch and put it out  Somebody from the tabloids will bound to ask why :D apparently the youngest person carrying it is 11, and the oldest is 90 something, not much of a choice really is it?

A little before 8am on Monday 18th June for us - I'll have to think of a good vantage point seeing as it is a busy enough time of the morning but it starts just round the corner

Will try to capture as much of Northern ireland as Possible....

Yep, it's coming past my village so I have booked the day off to get out there with my camera :D

If anyone in the Vigo area wants to come along, give me a shout. It's on Friday 20th July, in the morning

I'm a :bonk::bonk::bonk:

I thought as it would be in Gravesend and then Borough Green, they would be running from one to the other

I will now be in Borough Green if anyone wants to join me :D

I will probably be shooting as the torch is coming across the widnes/runcorn bridge

Sutton is fairly close on the 23rd July, could try and cover this one

It's going right past Mrs M's window at work in Carshalton, though I suspect she'll find an excuse to make it a convenient moment to make a cup of tea or something. :D

are we gonna have a thread where we can post our photos up of the olympic journey or have i not found it yet?

I have pics from day 1 cornwall.

Yes, start one in the Other Photo Feedback sharing bit and we'll sticky it

I'm going to try and get it in Nottingham either June 28th or 29th.

Opportunity to get the Bigma out. Don't know if I'll be told off for using a monopod, but might take one along as well, for a bit of long range stability.

it was insane in Cirencester. Crowds 4 deep, and our torch bearere was in a wheelchair, i hardly saw him let alone able to take photos

a member of our photography club will be carrying the torch through Smethwick - he has the honour because he is a cancer nurse.... awesome!

I wont be able to catch it coming through stoke as my wife is going out.

But I was thinking that if we get enough coverage of the event across the whole of the UK I could make a book of all the shots and put it onto the Apple iBookstore. I have an account and books already published. It would be a free download - either that or we could charge a small fee and use it to raise money for a charity?

Took some photos when it came through my home town of Ironbridge last week. Placed the best photo with Alamy News Feed, but, alas, no takers.

Comes through Hythe in Kent on 18th July, my birthday :D It starts from about a minute from my house, so i'm taking the kids out of school so we can get a good spot.

Was in Sheffield today (and perhaps tomorrow as well)

I was going to take some shots when it came through Lincoln but ended up having a migraine and couldn't. Would like to see some pics of it going through Lincoln if anyone has some.

Posted a few of the flame in the other thread., as it passed through Spalding yesterday.

Just found this thread. Very early attempts with new camera. I know the torch is a bit oof but I love the flame itself, so it still works for me ;)
