I started with film cameras, sold all myFujica kit for not much money, went digital with Canon. Now I have a few canon film cameras as well that will take my lenses.
If you want real cost, try Polaroid. I picked up a lot of the different cameras for £1 at car boots etc. Film for that though from the impossible project can get very expensive.
