The best photo you've ever taken...

Difficult one but I'll give it a go, I have so many favourites and this list will probably change next week. :D

1. I think this is my favourite wedding shot. It was taken at a Castle in Ireland and you can just see the groom in the reflection of the telescope lens:

2. Then again, there is this one. Another favourite:

3. I suppose I should include an equestrian shot as this is where I cut my teeth so to speak. This was my first time experimenting with a remote camera:

4. And I just love this shot for the emotion:

5. I'd better include a landscape shot. This was taken years ago on Fuji bridge camera:

6. And an early macro to round it off:

This is the only one I've ever had blown up onto a canvas, and it was taken with a Canon Ixus P&S!

Choice of three for me
My cousins wedding a few months ago, just the on camera flash on my 400D. This one is going on their wall in sepia, so proud :D

My girlfriend, taken in France. I was playing about with composition, trying various crops, and fluked this shot.

thanks... had a bit of a phase of dunking things in fizzy water ;)

Yup, I've done the fruit into lemonade etc, so might just have to go with pencils. I have a project to do for my course that this might fit.

Love the fact photographers can never work out their one best pic. :D

i think i'd have to go with the very first picture that a friend asked me to take of their daughter... they were thrilled with it when it was put onto canvas.. which made me happy too!

There is some truly wonderful stuff in this thread, and I don't really think mine come close, but here goes...

This was taken on my first visit to WHF. I love Cheetahs, and this is the only image I've had printed to canvass.

I still regard this as one of the best portraits I have ever taken. I don't know why, but I always come back to this image.

And finally, I've never been great at landscapes, but I really do like this (now classic) shot of St Pauls & The Millenium Bridge.

There are a number of images on here that have really given me the inspiration to go out and improve what I'm doing. I have the kit, just need more time and more concentration.

I'd say this probably, though I'd love to get a chance to go back and shoot it again as my compact just wasn't sharp enough for it to be printable :(

Some fantastic shot here. This ones a scan of a print, (hence the odd colours) an oldie taken with a Pentax MX and IIRC 50mm f1.8. All manual, on film. Its still one of my favourites after all these years. 1989, somewhere over the Falkland Islands. Huge hole up beside the hose reel, no harness, parachute etc. Stunning veiw, so scared of dropping the camera and it hitting the jet/canopy/engines.

Looking over my photos, I think this may be the best one I've taken, if only because the photo was one of those grab it or lose it forever shots.

Not been photographing for long so not got many good ones to pick from......but I do like this one taken from my garden looking out at a sunset over Abberley....the tower is the Abberley Clock Tower

Probably this one, spent the day at Heathrow and this was the first shot of the day.
