The best photo you've ever taken...

Seeing all these great photos makes me think I should probably try taking some pictures outside of darkened rooms.

If I could capture a shot as good as that F-15 Eagle once a year I'd be delighted, lot alone every week. The vapour trails and heat haze are the icing on the cake.

hahah... I don't actually do much car photography. I do Nightclub and portraiture... sucks to be me.
 
I am very new to photography and the world of DSLR cameras, I only got my first ever DSLR a month ago.

I am no where as good as the rest of you but I hope to get there some day :)

Anyway I like this picture, it was taken with my Fuji bridge camera, it is a picture of my 2 year old daughter

I've enjoyed reading this thread... nice to get a quick broad view of the subjects on this forum - I spend all my time doing motorsport, so its nice to see other works I have never seen before.

I never thought a track through the woods could be so good ..... from start to finish of the tracks I do feel like I have been there, just an excellent shot and very well composed:clap:
 
This is a thread where I want to quote everyone as the shots are simply superb but to do this would take about a week so far, so please keep em coming as i cant seem to drag myself away looking at them all

The best shot I ever took was when I way a young kid. I quickly took a picture of two red arrows jets (using an old point and shoot camera) and later found that both planes were right on top of each other with coloured jets coming out of each engine.

I'm sure my mum still has a copy somewhere that I really need to scan.

Not suggesting for a minute that it's in any way as good as the shots shown above but it's the one that sticks in my memory and sparked my initial interest in photography.
 
I was a little shy at first to share as I am humbled by a lot of the shots here, but then I thought that was silly. I am 3 months into my adventure with my 400D and here are two of my favorite shots so far as I couldn't choose.
