Hello,
First post; am considering going back into SLR just satisfy my missing the different feel, settings,dials buttons etc, compared to my almost total Sony CSC set up (NEX7, 5n, RX100) Superb for 'Street' 'Candids' and Documentary, quality of images superb

Prob. 60D with ONE! LENS mainly used for general Travel and Flora work.
I know the CSC's will and, do the job as good but, sometimes quick reaction opportunities on walkabouts and travel better suited to DSLR

How much money do you have to spend? Ive just ordered a 60D today as an upgrade from my 400D. I use a 55-250mm Canon lens and its a brilliant budget lens.

The lens, as we know, is the most important part of the'combo'
Tamron 18-270? Sigma18-250? Canon 28-135? I did have a Canon 24-105 with the 7D and from memory, was not that sharp on wider settings.
