I'd like to see some of the older cartoons come back. Like Penny Crayon, Charley Chalk, Bertha, Alfred J Kwak and Family Ness...I could be here all day lol
 
I'd hate to see the Clangers remade by killing it with CGI like a lot of remade old shows. Fireman Sam, Magic Roundabout, Postman pat to name a few that have been ruined by it.

Yeah I agree totally.

But the originator's son is directing it, and wit Michael Palin narrating, it seems promising.

In my teen-age years The Clangers and Magic Roundabout were compulsory viewing - along with The Sally James show - I mean Tiswas.;)

I was born in 87 but grew up with an older brother and sister so I still often watched the older shows and still remember them. Hopefully it does turn out to be pretty good because a lot of times I still find myself watching kids TV when they are not interested and gone out the room :rolleyes:
 
I used to enjoy Paper Play with Susan Stranks and the two glove puppet spiders Itsy and Bitsy. I swear those glove puppets used to cop a feel as they crawled over Susan whilst she was making things.
