Hey everyone, wanted to share this beautiful (well in my opinion) timelapse video which Terje Sorgjerd made with a Canon 5D Mark II.

I think (any many of you will probably agree) that his video is absolutely stunning and aspire to produce this type of work.

My hat is off to you Terje. Great work.

This is simply beautiful.

Amazing work. Great dedication.

Wow.. looks incredible - can anyone shed some light how he captured it so well. I imagine he needs to do long exposures to get that intensity but at the same time its timelapse, so is he literally doing constant say 30 second exposures one after the other?

Wow!
Simply stunning - a true work of art.

(This would make a superb screensaver.)

Words cannot describe that.
Possibly the most stunning piece of photography i have ever saw.
Thanks to the OP was posting that link.

amazing, would love to get out to witness this.

That really is a stunning timelapse, as is his other one, The Mountain.

I found some more stunning vids here at the Timescape site.

I was inspired by davidorff's post and the videos to finally try and use the built in interval option on my camera. It is hard to get my head round the way Nikon have implemented it, but it is something to play with, and something I'm going to try when I get the right scene. I obviously won't have the moving rig as in those video links posted, but it should be an interesting thing to play about with. ;)
