Alan Sugar is a beardy miserable bell end.

I didn't watch it, I just don't like him, the rich sod :D

One of the ladies, her mouth is upside down!

I was surprised they let a bunch of unprofessional car washing women near the cars at that prestige place. The quality of the job they did was shocking as well.

The men didn't do much better did they - unless you call leaving the door open while jetwashing a car professional ??

Alison :)

Usual price of £20 per hummer

They where at it.
But £300 to wash and clean the insides of limos.
Bit much.

It was cringe worthy and they are all bawbags.
I think they look for the people that are that clever they are stupid.
And this lot were possibly the cream of the crop:thumbs:

grew up with sid james's comedy - great bloke, wicked laugh!

Alan Sugar wasn't always rich. there was a time he was selling car aerials from a barrow, and i've repaired enough amstrad crap to make me wonder how they ever made any money...

I'm trying to watch it and catch up on here and do filing all at the same time

...and how are the nails now?

At the time I was sat with it on (SWMBO liks it) but had the pleasure of listening to The Commitments Vol 2 via the wonders of Windows Media Player and some earphones.
I must say I find the program to be a good format but, unlike the first series, the contestants (it's just a game show after all) leave a lot to be desired. I can see from the above comments this series is pretty much the same.
I also fail to see how they can all have been succesful before joining the show  as I wouldn't give a job to any of them.

Managed to name three of the women already - there's Potato Head who's gone, The Bitch (she should have gone) and The Brown Nose (always puppy-dog eyeing The Bitch).

Did anyone watch the BBC 2 show "you're fired" - they were ripping into the estate agent - he won't last more than about 4 weeks

early days yet. Wait for the wannabees to get cut, then it should warm up, maybe

A.S. could do with standing nearer the razor in the morning.

Don't like him either, but wish someone like him was running this country.

I like to guess at the start of the program who will get the heave - ho.
Got it right last night.

I think that's the key to his ability.

Easy to make a profit from quality kit.
Making a profit from junk takes a bit of doing.

I think i was more amazed than surprised, i can only think the BBC gave them some sort of insurance cover, they hadn't even tried out the jet wash before starting, it always amazes me how these idiots are hand picked from thousands of entrants, it doesn't really say much for business and commerce in the UK, as for the guys washing a car with the bloody doors open  theirs a car wash not far from where i live that employ quite a lot of polish immigrants, they charge £15 for inside and out and they do a great job, so looking at the apprentice theirs hope for a few of us yet, but i'm sure theirs more hilarious bits to come from the show :D

One can only hope the others are actually the clever ones doing some real work ;)

How much? That's almost twice what they charge for the same around here (£4 inside & £4 outside).

I think this ties up with the Jade Goody thread were they get people on these shows for who is going to make for the most comedic tv.... There is no way those were the best for young business men of the country

Such wisdom on young shoulders . Nope, I think a lot of it is down to the producers...

True, I've never met a bloke who doesn't know how to wash a car without closing the door first.

But theres a difference between the paint job on a £20,000 VW Sharan and a £140,000 Ferrari F430 :p Both teams were equally as bloody useless in their own ways!

Aha, but thiink back to previous shows and ******s who should have been fired.

Alan Sugar loves this type - he sees a bit of himself in them. He'll stay quite late I think.

Trouble is, he's a doer and not a strategist. He'll be the one that goes in head first to anything, even when he's project manager, and have no strategy whatsoever.

I think that'll cost him.

Margaret and Nick are legends!! Spookily they actually remind me a bit of my parents....I think that Mona should have gone!! She was mean.
I'm going to be in the audience of the 'You're Fired!' programme next week - how exciting!!!! :D

I take it you will be wearing your TP tshirt and bobble hat so we can all regognize you :D

Their more enterpreunial in MK :D

i liked it, the people they have on their are the sort on the train to london sometimes talking about singing from the same song sheet, and stepping up to the plate etc. Mostly unemployed egotists with no idea about how it all works really, which is why they have 12 weeks free in their diaries...

Hahahaha what Matty says.

You could play bingo with any single episode - "Run it up the flagpole and see if anything bites while it sharpens it teeth in the greater scheme of things".

As anyone in The City will point out - anyone with the amount of skill the contestants claim to have will have already got a six-figure job that's better paid anyway.

Yes, they have all been on the same stupid brainstorming courses where they learn to think out of the loop and aim to use top down user centred technology and try to avoid reinventing the wheel.

Always aim to take a holistic approach and be sure to touch base frequently, bearing in mind that you cannot make an omlette without breaking eggs.

All that sort of lingo is just an attemt to cover that the fact they are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.
