Correct, the High Court came through for the Ghurkas, now the government has to alter the law to suit. Please write to your MP and push things along. We've a lot of thanks to due these men.

Edit - I'm not a Ghurka, never have been a Ghurka and I've no connection with the Ghurkas at all.

Just refering back to the this post with the interviews. I've taken one job starting on the 13th, doing IT support from a call centre. Should be interesting as my IT skills are nowhere as good as they where 8 years ago. Big learning curve coming.

And it also looks like a major supermarket store might be offering me a part time job, which I'll take as the full time job money is crap, but better than working for supermarket full time. I hope I'm not counting the chickens before all the eggs have hatched on this one. I've had 2 interviews with them this week :)

I'm waiting to hear back from the from a 3rd company, this offers the most money and looks like the best job. So fingures crossed.

So one week left to enjoy myself. Looks like the battery charger is going to be working over time this week :)

For the past year i've been struggling to save enough cash to go to Oz for my best friends wedding. Have been really unsuccessful so far but now it's sorted and I fly out to Perth on the 15th Nov for 10 days....

So Excited......!!!!!!!!

Just gotta figure out the best way of transporting my camera....

Hurrah! Our neighbours have gone away for half-term,which means that for the next week I haven't got to listen to her screaming or effing and blinding at the 8 and 3 year olds in an effort to get then to school in the morning...

Hurrah!

Quick, break in while she's gone and install soundproofing :D

I've just spent a superb 3 hours acting as Suzanne's Sous Chef and Washer Upper while she's prepared food for tomorrow when we have a bunch of family over:

Butternut Squash Soup, Chicken Cacciatore, Lemon Drizzle Cake :) plus a home made Chilli Oil

Camera was out so tomorrow, if I get time, you might see the results!

To follow tomorrow we are making a Lamb Biryani for Sunday Lunch :) and I'll be back at the bread baking - Ciabatta and Foccacia :)

I can feel a recipe thread about to start :D

More fun than I've had in ages :) ;) :woot:
