No raw files are also reduced so using the APS-C mode on the A7RIII will give you an 18.6 megapixel image for both raw and jpeg. You get this icon on the monitor (depending on view mode) when using APS-C mode (note it doesn't say APS-C/Supre 35mm it's just the box with the dashes around it)Which I guess is the next best thing imo
And, APSC mode on the A7Riii...... Two things please. Is the RAW actually still full sized? (like when shooting in 16:9) And, is there a symbol in the EVF/LCD to tell you that you are in crop mode?

This is incorrect you don't get the normal size raw, it's an 18.6 megapixel raw rather than 42 megapixel rawYou get the normal size raw file, just at 18mb resolution not 42mb
it shows at the top of the screen either 42 or 18 depending on your mode
