Book looks good Toby. I must do something like th instead of leaving everything on my hard drives.
Thanks guys much appreciated.Awesome images. The steam engine ones are sublime....
That’s superb Toby! Fantastic imagery! You should. I've just ordered a coffee table book today strangely enough, 'celebrating' 10 years of my photography. Here's a link to it if anyone's interested in viewing it.

Thanks very muchReally wonderful and very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing.

I've made a bit of a decision. I'm a bit fed up of sitting it out for that perfect one image per outing. So I'm going to start boring you all with lots of ''snapshots''
A scene? Colour? Light? Contrasts? Shadows? I don't care. If it looks good to my eyes, I'm gonna start shooting it

Thanks, I usually go for the natural look but with the weather I thought this more extreme processing worked.Love the processing of these. No. 3 in particular stands out for me.

I made a similar decision recently to just go out and take pictures. In the past I've always felt the need to take the best possible photo I can but I'm comfortable enough now to know that I can take a 'decent' photo and not everything has to be print worthy.
I'm still not the photographer I want to be though as I want to move away from taking 'picture postcard' shots and doing things more interesting/arty and hopefully by loosening the reins and not feeling the need to get the perfect shot will allow me to experiment more.
With the bank holiday weekend I've had too much time on my hands and decided to create a lens wish list. I'm not sure if I'll ever get there but it's something to work towardsThat being said, I'm very grateful for what I have already and if this never changes then I've still got and amazing set of gear

It is steep, I'm not willing to buy any of my wish list lenses at the current prices. The 20-70mm at e-infinity is more reasonable at £989, but I'm reluctant to buy from there and it's still on the pricey side.I'm not sure whether it's a bad thing or a good thing that the 50/1.4GM is the price it is!![]()

That’s shockingI managed to persuade Mrs WW to walk on "The Lines" today, it was the first time she'd been since the incident with the stone and racial insult throwing children.
I was shocked to see what the council have done to the place. In an act of ****ing vandalism they've turned this lovey place...

Into this.

They've stripped back most of the trees and bushed and tarmacked it. Why? Well, it's apparently an improvement as they've turned it into a cycle path. This obsession councils have with cycling paths and lanes despite the very little use they get. This will not attract cyclists and all it will lead to is the local yobs riding their illegal quad and off road bikes at higher speed. Utter ****ing vandalism![]()

I want a second body. If it's 30mp it'll probably be my choice.Apparently new rumors about the A9III are coming out tomorrow, I’m expecting an 24mp or 30mp version of the A1 but with the latest vari-angle screen and maybe even a few AF improvements such as car, train and plane recognition.

Indeed.Looking forward to this one, I have nearly bought the A1 a few times now but the uprated AF on a A9III would be preferable to the extra resolution (Although 30mp is the minimum I would accept). I find it strange Sony haven't done anything for the A1 af wise via a firmware update though.
It is difficult to see how they can improve AF (other than more subject recognition) but I’m not naive enough to think they can’t. Sony never did any real update on the A9ii whilst I had it, and I’m not holding my breath than they’ll do anything with the A1 either. It would be interesting to see what Sony have offered in updates over the years as I can’t recall anything too significant over the years, however it’s also not something I’ve looked in to a great deal on the other models.Looking forward to this one, I have nearly bought the A1 a few times now but the uprated AF on a A9III would be preferable to the extra resolution (Although 30mp is the minimum I would accept). In terms of other subject recognition I’m not sure whether I’d ever use it, if I can’t focus on a car or a train etc myself then I think I should just give up
Back up to £1049 now (I was on a £779 when I first looked, thought about it, decided to add to my 'lenses to buy' wish list, and it had jumped back in price).Sigma 24-70 2.8 £779on Amazon today.
Weird how it fluctuates on the same day.Back up to £1049 now (I was on a £779 when I first looked, thought about it, decided to add to my 'lenses to buy' wish list, and it had jumped back in price).
I wonder if anyone managed to snag it at the bargain price?
This often happens on Amazon, check again tonight after around 8pm. Basically if a third party seller drops their price Amazon sometimes respond by undercutting them for a few hours, usually in the evening.
