The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

its lovely. just remember the t-stop is F5.6.

Was just reading that now.

An f/2.8 that's actually an f/5.6, but shoots like an f/4
So there you have it: The Sony FE 100mm f/2.8 STF G has a physical aperture of f/2.8, but exposes like an f/5.6. And when it comes to DOF, it shoots like an f/4, but produces some of the most amazing, creamy bokeh we've ever seen. Given it's price, it's a somewhat special-purpose lens, but oh man; if you want amazing bokeh, this is the way to get it!

Just a simple Snapograph taken at Dungeness Romney Marsh Kent UK of one of the many discarded boats amongst many other things scattered about the beach that have just been discarded and left behind.
I've deliberately gone for a slightly higher contrast gritty look to this snap to emphasise the decay etc.
I'm also working on a personal project called Things Left Behind and this will be one of the shots included.

RX10M4, 1/420th @ F5.6, ISO-100, Bit Of Fill Flash, Tripod.

Very nice image George goes great in B&W.

I have so many now,but yes I do have the 135mm great lens too. With Fuji I had the best so with Sony I want the best too as like I said life is far to short.
Why on earth would you buy the 100mm when you already have the 135mm ? Take a couple of steps back with the 135mm, the 100mm cannot compete. I would have thought the 35mm Sigma Art 1.2 would have completed your line up better.

I had a 100mm for a little while thought it was crap tbh.

135mm is vastly superior lens.

I like this, the B&W really suits it (y)

Just had a look at where the raw caches are stored and there's over 34k files in there taking up 10GB of storage.

Sorry for late reply, having a fight with the decking in the backyard last couple days lol! I have 39GB worth of those files in same location which is the same as the Previews and Smart Previews on my SSD combined. My SSD is external so im wondering why these DAT files are on my internal SSD. Im going to raise a support ticket with Adobe on this later tonight and see what they say.

That's sort of why I've held back on the 24GM - I was in here on about it a few weeks ago but I just don't think I'd be using it enough......

I still haven't replaced the lenses I had for my Canon DSLR. I'm still missing a 12-24mm, a 150mm f2.8 macro and a 70-300mm. I can use a 50mm macro on MFT for 100mm equiv and I do have the 45-150 and 100-400mm for MFT too but nothing to match that old Sigma 12-24mm. These days with spare time being so scarce I have a problem justifying the costs to myself.
