@decigallen why can’t you just use a button to lock focus? I’ve dumped it on AEL.

The manual switch on a lens has bothered me at times, but only because I’m used to dslr. With more use I’m getting used to having the AF modes quickly switchable on C4.

I noticed that my pictures posted here looked unsharp some time ago. Someone mentioned imgur.com so I use that now. It's simple and free. Maybe give it a look?
 
Hmmm just gone onto my iMac and view the forum on this and the images are showing as expected it seem when viewing via the TP app on the iPad pro they look compressed
 
That 800x any difference?

I think viewing on iPad change somthing through tp app as fine on my iMac

I popped £27.?? in the Escort (I didn't know what was in there as the gauge doesn't work!) went for a drive to the lakes. Bought the other half an ice cream with sauce/nuts (extra brownie points :) ) sat chilling out for a bit, drove on further, stopped for some photos, called in the 'local' country pub for a shandy on the way back :)

I seem to have an almost complete lack of gas at the mo.

I'm not even looking at any old lenses.

As you’ve know I’ve been complaining about the IQ on here for quite some time ;) Bizarre though considering it’s a photography site after all :facepalm:

I think all forums suffer from this, to be fair TP is better than most others. Check some images on DPR, woeful, I would refuse to post anything on there because it completely obliterates the quality, making even ISO 100 files noisey looking as hell
