I watched that earlier, can I just say I am an indecisive idiot. I fully decide on the A7 III and everytime I see or read something about how amazing the A9 is I get the wobbles.

I tried similar last night with a much more modest setup, but the A9 didn't like it and wouldn't let me take a shot. Which is confusing as ''shoot without lens' is enabled

Interesting

It looks far better on a large screen so you can see the focus of the picture which is the driver. It's not a technically perfect shot, I just like the feel. It's quite a heavily cropped shot with a 50mm lens.

I don't understand why they are so popular. I'm no photographer (just a happy snapper really) but their lack of ability at times even shocks me and makes me wonder why people would listen to what they have to say...

They're the 'Daytime TV' or 'Easy Listening' version of Youtube photography channels, I find them easy enough to watch, though not a favourite. I can see americans loving them.

I use the wider focal points a lot, not having to focus and recompose shots was one of the reasons for switching from the D750

I’ve not had to do that on my R2 or R3 and I’ve shot as close to the edge that I’d ever need to but if that’s what you need it’s a good reason.

And that's what it's all about. It's actually a quick fix in LR, warm up by +35 and drag the bottom of the blue channel across to the right, sync that across the rest and the colour really pops.

i did not know you can drag specific colours in the channel!

Strange question but with electric shutter on the A9 can you still have a shutter sound?

Also what are the different FPS speeds? Is it like 5/10/20?

i believe 5/10/16?/20 (18 on uncompressed mode)

4 days in Taiwan at some new hotel that I’m basing it solely on Tripadvisor reviews...

Friend’s wedding I’m attending in Taiwan but the flight have a connection in HK so I decided to make it a 3 day layover instead of 2 hours, I’m here to see my grandmother and eat. Currently in the world’s cheapest Michelin star restaurant Tim Ho Wan.

So jealous, my favourite city in the world. I can't believe I've found photography AFTER being there so many times. Trip definitely planned for the near future. I spent 6 months living Taiwan too, Hsinchu.

Everyday’s a school day hey Jonney [emoji106] Handy huh. A lot of bought presets have colour tweaks in the colour channels, just another way of manipulation. Good for targeting specific problems like Dec had.

The higher the DR the flatter the file. Same goes for video, go have a look at SLOG and see how flat it is lol

It seems I need to push it more for the same effect.

I have the preset made for Canon and it’s nothing complicated but it’s noticeable. When I click it for a Sony file I always wondered if that worked or not.

But you must notice the difference with DR, my canon files, albeit 5D2, had little latitude.

Does look a lovely bit of kit. It’s a bit of an odd FL for me though. Either or with an 85 but it’s far more bulky. Where would you squeeze it into your weddings?
