:D oh... well I am still waiting to hear back regarding Sony A7 III stock.... also waiting for my Sony 3 year warranty extension pack :D
I guess I was lucky to get my hands on the Sony A7 III :)
 
Took me a couple of hours to update the A73 on my MacBook running High Sierra. What a PITA. If anyones having issues, make sure you download the separate driver program for High Sierra if you’re running that. Won’t work otherwise.
 
Got my A73 today.

I should mention that Alex Wilkinson at Wilkinson Cameras was great and promptly sorted out my postage issues/costs for me here in Northern Ireland.

Bad news, it looks like Sony are sending out what they can to certain dealerships, they just turn up on the day.
Harrison's have 4-5 people waiting for the Sony A7 III.

I’m not a screen protector kinda guy. The screens on the Sony suck, though. Maybe Sony should just manufacture a better coating and save us all the hassle.

70-200 with 1.4 tc tonight for more reach, glad more lights came on during performance. F4 1/160th iso 2500 so not bad for Orchestra.

Though 5.6 of the 100-400 would be pushing it..

Maybe it would be fine

Sometimes I wish they had one installed from the factory then at least it won’t have any dust under it lol

Depends on the speed. Some of the UHS-II cards are getting 300mb/s + write speeds which is crazy fast, especially when you compare to the Sandisk Extreme Pro I’ve been using which are 95mb/s which we’re pretty much the fastest not so long ago.

I can’t wait for Lexar to start shipping again, Im hoping it might bring prices down a bit, especially XQD’s. Rumours are June/July (y)
