The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Fair assumption, considering you’re coming from Nikon. I have a microserver for my photos, I post some on 500px, I dislike Flickr and I like my privacy - so I don’t post pics of my family. I’ve been so busy I’ve still to process my trip to Canada, or to Andalucia. I’ll get there!

Not really, I've used around 40 cameras. I only really discuss characteristics/renderings of lenses of cameras if I've used them or I'll specifically say I read about them if I havent. Just ask instead of assuming.

When you say it, it sounds like I was aggressively photographing :) I wasn't, no one knew. It was just a busy street with people close together.

I'm sure you weren't, youre a kind bloke but you made it sound a bit aggressive.

Didn’t think you had ever owned the A7, hence my assumption. This thread moves so fast it’s hard to know sometimes!

Any reason not to get the 16-35mm 2.8 GM? been pondering it for a while..

It does doesn't it! Had loads of sonys.... they're getting better ;)

Fair enough! Frankly, the fact I’ve, until recently, been using the original A7 and getting more than decent results just goes to show it’s not just about what body you have. Sure, it helps, but it’s really not the main factor in a good shot, imo. Too many users on this thread have horrendous GAS, I kinda feel sorry for some of you lot! :P

Yup, it’s an amazing lens :) super sharp.
It’s relatively light and small compared to the f4 version too.
