I've jus spent 2k myself recently
I paid £450 for 1 night on a hotel in Hakone...that was crazy. Make spending £2k on a camera seems sensible!

oooo let me guesss.... a shiny canon 6d markii?![]()
Considering pulling the trigger on the Sony A7 III![]()
Don't bother, spend the 2K on actually getting out and using your existing camera, 2K buys you some great days out, and even a couple of European breaks.
Considered collecting coins or stamps? Cheaper and takes us less cabinet space.
Is it just my eyes or is there banding/artefacts in the sky?![]()

I checked the original raw and can't see anything, I pushed and pulll it apart with processing to try and get some kind of show - but nothing.

Jonney pans parked f1 cars at 1/4000. Apparently only an a9 can do that.
So the Wilkinson offer on the Sony A7 III ends tonight, really tempted to get one as a second body and try and put a end to Sony GAS.
No more lenses as got all bases covered.
did that include room serviceI paid £450 for 1 night on a hotel in Hakone...that was crazy. Make spending £2k on a camera seems sensible!

£1700 is a good saving which includes 3 year extended warranty.

Let’s be honest, it will just induce more GAS

I don't favour brands, but I'm kind of a bit stuck now as have a lot invested in lensesOne thing I keep wondering is why do people value the brands so much, particularly Canon who even by non enthusiasts are probably recognised as market leaders in camera gear. I suppose some of the kudos comes from seeing the pros on TV with their Canon bodies and big white lenses and when people walk into the shop I suppose the sales staff push Canikon and the customers are predisposed towards those brands... but maybe this will change as the next generations start looking to buy something better than the Apple/smartphone brand names and action cams they've grown up with and for many of those Canon and Nikon may just be names from the past, something Grandad goes on about. That could happen if Canikon don't get their fingers out.
I get shallow DOF with my OllyFocusing is a non-issue when using tiny sensors![]()
Apparently the EM1-II is pretty good. Not A9 good obviously, but it can hold its own against most cameras.+ m43 has poor caf.
Ditto, except my wife is Louisa not LouiseLouise is vegetarian and we don't want kids, so it's all for me![]()

It does look weird to me too, more 'blotchy' than banding. Is it just my eyes or is there banding/artefacts in the sky?![]()

Sell all your gear and switch. You eventually have to once canikon introduce ff mirrorless with a new mountI don't favour brands, but I'm kind of a bit stuck now as have a lot invested in lenses
I get shallow DOF with my Olly [emoji14] But generally having a larger DOF helps for my travel photos

Your leica where working fine too..eventually "have to" - like that will make his current cameras incapable of working anymore..
