I think I am liking this Sony camera.
Sure it doesn’t have the true AF of the A9 but it is still ridiculously good value, its £1,000 less than a 5D4 ! The icing on the cake and what really clinch it is the Eye-AF in continuous.
EVF and LCD isn’t top spec but that doesn’t affect IQ so not a worry.
DR is currently one of the best you can get.
24mp is a sweet spot.
Dual cards (okay it should be the same in both but that’s for another thread!)
Flip screen.
Wifi enabled.
I have mapped a couple of the Custom buttons to mirror my Canon set up, using the AEL as Eye-AF, almost like a back button focus, but instead of tracking the body of a subject, it is tracking the eye, amazing. I just hope this can work against a face in the crowd.
There are many times where in the 5D4, and I would normally use single point focus AF single shot and it would miss focus, and is really frustrating. I can’t wait to really try out this system….Have an enagement shoot on Good Friday next week, will use it in tandum with my 5D4 and see how it compares side by side. Which means I need to really shoot something with it first to at least get to know it a bit better.
How and where?!
Probably grey import.
Well the baunter started again lol.

You did check with Adobe before you rushed into selling all your Nikon kit and then paying full price for the Sony........... didn't you?
UK Stock, 3 year Sony warranty. Try again.
I would never have expected to be able to get a good discount on a (just about out) camera body, to be totally fair. I'll gloat for a while, because why not, eh?![]()
Spill the beans then.
I can't, yet. But you already have an A7III, don't you? So..
Could tempted more here to get it if you spill the beansI can't, yet. But you already have an A7III, don't you? So..

Basically, this. It’s 80% a genuine discount and 20% a glitch, increasing the already genuine discount further. Not a family deal, just a normal UK camera dealer. Don’t wanna rock the apple cart, see.
People are just curious why a retailer would give discount on a product that is brand new in high demand. There are no reasons to.

Agree and if you look most online retailer got no stock as it all at the showWhat you are trying to say is, you've found a misprice, placed an order, don't want a bunch of people flooding in an trigger the alarm and ruin your masterplan.
I am not that interested in the "glitch", that can be recalled any second but more interested in who would give 20% off for something brand new in high demand.

Sort of. Found an offer, but the dealer had a further money off deal which took more money off, which it probably shouldn’t have. The rest of what you said though.. yep. Don’t wanna flood the website with orders and have it go tits up - that helps nobody. If you also happen to find it, I suggest you do the same.
Us lot on here if find a deal and we mention it on here we share as we are a group of good friends.. If you didn't want to tell us where you got the deal shouldn't of said a thing.. We all support each other on here..
Happy to do someone a favour. But at the expense of my order being cancelled, I am not. I’m not an idiot.
When my order goes through I’ll post it here, I was always going to. Next time I won’t bother. Save myself a telling off from the morality police.
Adobe just told me it be 3-4 month before update comes for our camera. Can’t be right?
Best way... You could of told people after so after all you not that clever you just stirred up.. Well I hope I bloody find it and then I will post it up off to do the search

Seems to be a deal that if you spend £2000 you get £200 off in their spend and save discount scheme. Plus £100 trade in !!!
Beat me to it that one i found
Berating someone generally speaking doesn’t foster friendships, I find.
They don’t have a date for stock and currently have none, btw.
Nor does mentioning amazing deals but then refusing to share them because you want to make sure you get first dibs.
I have zero problem with you getting a good deal and honestly wish you the best of luck with it but if you're not willing to share you probably shouldn't mention it in the first place.
I have shared, with quite a few folk. So, I suggest you dismount from your high horse, as lofty as it may be, up there.
Found the place! Just posted it on various Sony Facebook groups
High horse? I wished you luck and gave you a suggestion on how you can avoid sending the wrong message. Get a grip man.
Good discount, almost as good as the discount I can getlol
OMG SHARE or you're the worst d*ck ever.
