I'll give you some ammo...

1. It costs too much!
2. It should be about 40 quid because that's how much a Sony DVD player costs.
3. Should have bought a Fuji.
4. They're too big.
5. A Canon 1DX with 400mm f2.8 is smaller than an A7 with 35mm f2.8.

i agree on all these except point 1. clearly money isn't an issue as he's just gassed 20 grand in one sitting.

It's a great body from Sony and for the money you are getting so many features/performance.

Looking at figures I just don’t think it’s possible at the moment to get the lenses I would need. Damn money!!

As I said I cant afford it. D750 + 70-200 f2.8 - would get like 2k max.

That would buy body only leaving me £2300 short lol

70-200 2.8 would have to be purchased - its my go to lens on the D750 so would not be able to go without.

As mentioned - its not finacially possible.

If you're lucky, probably more like 1800 on a good day without sill RMSD costs for heavy items. So more like £1750. :(

well if you always buy new and sell to upgrade or jump ship you'll always lose some money. Won't be too bad I suppose if you stick to it for a while but if you are like me and go through lenses every few months better to buy and sell used.

Yeah the touble is to get what I have now would cost me like 2.5k minimum lol!

Hopefully once the market has settled I can look at 2nd hand stuff!

It's been snowing again here for the last couple of hours, big flakes too and beginning to lay. Doubt I'll be able to go out today.

Mrs Woof Woof has very quickly gone from wanting to see snow to locking herself in the bedroom and refusing to come out :D

And a bit off topic...

I've been banned from LL forum for a week for telling a regular to grow up and not be such a fan boy. He's recently claimed that Nikon invented AF and that Nikon or Canon would never release a camera with such an obvious fault as the A7III banding. (Nikon didn't invent AF and Canikon have had their share of issues with new cameras.) I said I'd get it in the neck as he's a regular and I'm not :D I could give a t@@s about being banned for telling a twit home truths but I don't. I do care or rather feel a little dismayed and sorry that grown men and it's almost exclusively men of a certain age get so invested in a thing that they become so blinkered.
