Nope keeping both of them until A9 / A7RIII comes out ;) when that time comes I'll sell of my A7RII's at a appealing price which will include extended warranty ;)

It is a cracking 85mm though and no doubt some will pay the prices.
Just done some investigating, they have these advertised on their eBay store, yet on their site it still says "pre-order" at the usual price.
So definitely supply & demand it seems.
I'm surprised Park Camera's included the Batis lenses in their 10% off deal :)
 
Zeiss Batis 18mm f2.8 announcement due within the next 4-6 weeks folks. Apparently it's going to be even more sharper than the "champion wide-angle" Batis 25mm which was recently tested at DxO.

Hopefully not, Zeiss should have a fair idea how much production is needed to avoid a Batis 25/85mm saga. :)

I am still thinking about the 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 GM and one of the TC's. the 2x TC might degrade IQ too much so may have to settle for the shorter one.
Then wait for Batis to release more primes :) lol
