The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Two things she's hot! And I want that camera!!! And that lighting set up (off to ASDA to give hand jobs).

Lastly he says it's a 12-24mm lens on the camera but it's white the 12-24mm is black! Surely it's the 24-70??

Yea but many say that the 16-35 f4 and 35mm 1.4 are crap and not sharp as canikon

I guess it depends what you judging them on. Personally I haven't used those 2 Canon lenses, however I do have the Sigma 35 1.4 and Sony 16-35 f4. I haven't used the 16-35mm in anger yet, but this was a test shot outside the shop taken wide open at f4. To my untrained eye I'm happy :)

Yes, do give them a call and explain you are still within the 30 day return period and ask if they'd give you the trade-in bonus.

I have done this several times with Amazon when price has reduced and they have always refunded the difference.

Having just spoken to the lovely people at Wex. I will be exchanging my used 1 for a shiny new one on Monday :)

Great stuff.

We were due for a few hours out today but it's pouring with rain here so it's another day in with home made bread and bramble and raspberry jam made with berries picked by us locally.

Rain here today too on my day off :(

Oh well, may as well prepare my PC for a fresh windows install ready for my new 1tb SSD and extra 8gb RAM that's arriving tomorrow :D

I only ever shoot single shot but of course no one would ask me to shoot their wedding :D I'd imagine if you have the camera set to continuous shooting and shoot anything and everything because it's important or might make a good shot the shot count could soon add up.

I'd agree that 6000 images for one wedding is a ridiculous amount. Even full 14 hour days where I've shot with two cameras, I've only come away with maybe 2500 images and that's excessive. Even with a blanket cull to start with, you're still going to spend even longer editing than you did shooting and Pre-planning!

Quick sensor cleaning question guys...... I have a few VSGO cleaning swabs left. I bought them a while ago when I needed something urgently!! Should I replace them with the same or are there 'better' ones to use??

I got a Batis 25mm f2 the other day, lovely lens, looks and feels much better than i expected, IQ is excellent although i think it qualities are more subtle then the mega sharpness of lenses like the Zony 35 f2.8, 55 f1.8 and Sony 90 f2.8 Macro lenses.
