Rookies had to many beans.
You'd be lucky, I predict it will come down to £1999 when its one year old, around August I think. Then probably down to £1599 once the new A7RIII is out in 2017.Only if it £1499

That could be said for almost everything sold in the UKIt goes to shows the UK Rip off prices
Not to mention that the grey retailers may not be completely honest on the prices declared on imported goods for tax purposes. To be fair though it's not all greedy retailers making massive profits out of British Joe public as fact is that it's more expensive to do business here, what are our business rates? 3 x that of Germany? The living wage could well have an effect too.

Na, thats a bit out of budget for the moment... not 100% certain yet but I also have the A5100 and the other half prefers that (touchscreen etc) so the A6000 has to go. To many cameras at the moment, gotta try be sensible.
I only have two camera's![]()

Anybody know if you can change file output names in-body to avoid duplicate file names from the same bodies?
Somebody mentioned changing one body to AdobeRGB and the other to sRGB.
I know mate, it's these little things which Sony seems to be missing, I bet it's only a small firmware tweak. Why would you do that. With a Nikon its easy (even the REALLY old ones), I can change the filename letters to anything, the folder name, the copyright tagged to the EXIF, hows that futureproof brand working out for you?![]()
Assuming you use something like Lightroom just use an import preset to rename files on import. I personally go something along the lines of "[setname]-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS.ext" but anything is better than anything any cameras produces itself. DSC0056.JPG? Wow, so helpful!Anybody know if you can change file output names in-body to avoid duplicate file names from the same bodies?

I think the a6300 allows you to select the name in-body, and I the mark II bodies let you enter copyright/owner text for EXIF. So they're slow but they're getting there. Unlike others, who seem intent to stay exactly where they are despite the tides of progress. Why would you do that.
