p.s. I have no idea about kit and split, I don't buy bodies with lenses as a kit so no idea but for the body, I doubt it makes much difference but it might for the lenses that comes in a kit.
Who was that with?Thought my latest quote of £1975 for the A9 was pretty decent!
Get it bought chap....... the Sony A9 is properly good. The A7 III is also a great value body but ultimately the A9 / A9 II are probably the best mirrorless bodies out there if you can live with 24mpMmmm WEX are doing a £300 trade in bonus on the A9 at the moment that and a little bit of discount they always give me, I could pretty much trade in one of my A7III's and it would work out not much more than selling one of my A7III's privately and buying grey.

Is it a while since we had pictures? I haven't been out for over a week but I bet someone has taken some pictures they'd like to post?
Waterfall by Terence Rees, on FlickrI'm currently looking at the Tokina f2, it's a bad idea and I don't need one.
what you need is the laowa 10-18mm in sales![]()
As always, stunningly good photos
I'm put off by the color cast in the corners, plus it's a zoom and they frighten and confuse me. Nice lens though.
haven't really found any significant colour cast issues tbh.
But it is a zoom![]()

Cheers dude, yeah I originally was going to stick with a blue LED theme like the Dolby Cinema's found in select Odeon LUXE theatres.Your cinema look better than an Odeon Lux
The original garage was around 5.6m long and 2.6m wide.Nice Riz, what are the dims of the room?
Will you be showing Blue Story?
So the EVE sensor near the door triggers all the LED lighting to turn on, the I have it set so after 5 minutes they automatically turn off.
Or I can ask Siri to turn off the Home Cinema lights or use the iOS app.
I haven't got around to programming the Logitech remote, as that can control the lights based on command, e.g. if I press play the lights could also turn off, stop and the lights can turn on etc.![]()
Why not? Banned from your cinema too?ermmmm lol

Yeah, I made a error in posting.... update my previous postThanks but the dimensions of the room? Thinking of doing something similar as I have unused space![]()
Yeah lolHe thought you meant blue movies AKA porn. LOL
The original garage was around 5.6m long and 2.6m wide.
I have used a area of around 3.4m x 2.5m for the home cinema section, the area behind the curtain fits a Study desk and treadmill

That's a very good space to work with. You could go down the projector route with two rows of seats etc. All comes down to your budget really.Interesting, my unused space is approx. 4.5m w x 14m l. This could be fun.![]()

I spent quite a long of time deciding on the setup and working things like how to get normal LED light strips talking to my Hue system etc. In the end I wanted a Dolby Vison and Atmos setup.
Here is an example of a projector setup, this was my old system in a pretty square room.

My first movie setup as on my PC in my bedroom! 19" Sony FD Monitor (Brick), Creative SoundWorks 5.1 Surround Sound Kit, Creative DXR2 DVD decoder and DVD-ROM drive.I went for projector set up in the end. Its functional but I can't move forward with it until q1 next year as having to have some repair work done to the house. I doubt it'll be as impressive as your though!
Cheers chap.Lovely mate, your attention to detail is top notch. I also go a bit overboard with my projects
I know @dancook also loves a project.

Buttermere Pines by Thomas Green, on FlickrToni, are you getting the 18mm f2.8?
