Just been out and bought a Nikon D300, 18-70, 55-200 and SB400 flash,

and still had change from 1400 quid :thumbs:
 
Well i was given 500 quid for me birthday and I went out to buy a Nikon D80 but.... :D

If it's anything like me, the bank manager is the one on the warm side of the bed :D

Hope you get on well with the kit, I have a £1,500 list sitting here on my desk too :help:
 
Well the 18-200 VR arrived about an hour ago
(When your waiting for a parcel why does time go so slowly :bang: )

I decided to swap the 18-70 & 55-200 for it,

so glad that I did, its a stunning lens, :thumbs:
yes it is a big bigger and a bit heavier than I thought
but at the end of the day i'm only carrying one lens round not 2 so it works out lighter & less to carry :D
 
Good decision Stevie ... :thumbs: ... the D300 and the 18 - 200 will make a stunning combo ... :D

I wasn;t going to stretch to the 18-200 but after reading the other thread about the lens, and the comment from you, amongst others, I thought **** it, already spent £1400 whats another 100 quid :D

So, thanks for that :thumbs:
 
oooh I was taking photos with ours within minutes of getting it out of the box...! I love it!

It took that long!? :lol: I can't imagine I'll be able to hold out more than a few seconds when I get my 40D tomorrow!
