Yup, that race will not be deleted off my Sky box for some time Matt. Absolute classic and something you will never see in Formula1 (i.e. end to end seat edge excitement and anticipation of the approaching last 30 seconds).

Knew it was gonna be a classic when Lorenzo went off like the scalded cat from the word go. The speed he went through the first right hander on "cold" tyres was unbelieveable.

I missed the race first time round then heard about it. At my Girlfriends last night I caught he last half and was on the edge of my seat all the way through. I couldnt beleive some of the near impossible moves they were doing. Such a shame that F1 isnt like this anymore :(

Two wheels all the way, every time. This season is shaping up to be one of THE all time greats.

Three way tie at the top of the championship? I'll have some of that! :thumbs:
 
Rossi has to be the greatest rider of our generation in my opinion.
 
absolute corker of a race.

even beats the first half of laguna last year, before stoner dropped it at the final corner and rossi could coast it home.
 
Excellent skills and balls from both riders! Reminds me of the old days with rossi vs gibernau.

It was indeed awesome, stunning riding by both, it will I am sure go down in history.
 
And my work colleagues don't understand why I'm into bike racing :thinking:

Rossi is a riding God...... He manages to pull the best from bikes even when they are considered "uncompetitive". It's an interesting championship this year, with nobody really dominating the series. I normally miss Donnington because I hate the place so much, but I'll have to concede and get my backside up there this year.

It would be nice to see JT somewhere near the front. I think he'll struggle for a ride next year if he keeps this form up :shake:

Wish I could help out but it's the one pass that the guys take turns using. Now I am trying to swing something for Valencia at the end of the season!
 
After yesterdays 100th win for Vale I decided to dig out my old film photos and found the one I took of his 33rd win at Donny in 2001.

Think it was an old Minolta I was using back then.
