She's got that in the wrong hand, she'll have her own eye out with the ejected shell! Quite safe around her really![]()
Not sure if i like this thread
I AM UNCLE BOB!!!!!
to all of nieces and nephews, need to change me name now :-( how does deed poll work??
Going to a good friends wedding tomorrow and have decided not to take the camera , very briefly i did consider taking the 50mm and having a go at some candids etc , but I've decided against it
#1 - I'm gonna get drunk so dont want to lose or damage the camera
#2 - I dont want to be "that bloke" with the camera at the wedding
we've all seen him , he's usually a distant relative , elderly uncle type chap who faffs around with his ageing gear generally annoying folk and mumbling about the war and how cameras and photography were better in his day
What do the rest of you do when invited to friends weddings etc ? do we leave the gear at home and relax and enjoy ourselves or do we become "that bloke"?
BTW I thoroughly dislike weddings![]()

1. Get drunk...
2. Shag a bridesmaid...
3. Wake up, urine-soaked and/or covered in sick in a hedge/ditch/police cell...![]()
I only seem to go to funerals nowadays....
Kev.
I would take a camera to a wedding now, after all I enjoy taking photos and everybody is dressed up looking good so why not?
My wife likes me taking the camera to events, she says that I dont get as hammered when I have something else to do apart from drink...
It all depends where the hot expended casing lands !! I'd hate to see that happen. I wouldn't be able to close my eyes all night.
