I got my first DSLR about a month ago (Nikon D40X Kit) and can’t believe how engrossing the whole photography thing is. I was lucky in the fact that I am fairly competent using PS from web design work so that’s helped the advice from forum members has been very good. The thing I am regretting now is not getting into the photography sooner it’s such a relaxing past time.
This is just a note to say thanks for the help and the inspiration I have often found myself visiting people’s websites and seeing work that I hope to one day emulate.

How true, since entering the DSLR world and realising that decent lenses do actually make a BIG difference to images i have been extremely poor. But i love my gear more than anything so its ok..

Yep - regret not getting into it years ago as well - trying to catch up for lost time gets very frustrating with limited hours out there & unlimited inspiration in here!
