Thank you to our TP Secret Santa's!

Just thought I would start a thread for when people recieve their gifts to say Thank You to their Secret Santa's...That way also, the sender knows that the person has recieved their gift too - wrapped or unwrapped!!​
 
I would like to say THANK YOU to my TP Secret Santa. My pressi arrived today....and mum was like "Adele have you ordered anything?" And I'm like Noooooo :lol: Then was like "OH....I wonder if its my Secret Santa!!!" And it was....
It wasnt giftwrapped....but I'm not telling you what it was until Christmas Day...all I will say is that I will enjoy it :) and quite thoughtful [and photography related ;)]

Noooooo I didnt order it, but it came directly to me, from the place my secret santa had ordered it. And it wasnt wrapped. So mum said "Adele have you ordered anything from ....this place...." and I was like "No...let me open packaging and find out what ti is..." And there, on a label inside from the company was "from your TP Secret Santa." so I didnt mean to open it....it just I needed to know what the parcel was as there was nothing on the outside to say I could open it! :D
 
Mine is cozing-up under a tree too, been here for a while and the eagerness is scratching a hole in my hand.

Thank you TP, Secret Santa, and for (s)he who arranged for all of this.

Received mine as previously stated, my recipient has responded so I am a happy bunny although not as happy as I will be tomorrow when my 5D MKII arrives.

case, cleaning cloth and a pop out reflector, all things that I don't have! :woot:

I got a wonderful Jobo Gorilla-pod. Always wanted to buy one, but never got to it.

Thank you Secret Santa :thumbs: ... didn't know you posted from London, but I guess the mail there is more efficient that up North :shrug: :p
 
I started the other thread as I thought this one was to acknowledge receipt.

More than happy to post my thanks for my radio controlled plane on here, it is quite good fun, the wife doesn't like it it seems to keep buzzing around her head while she's trying to sort out the xmas dinner. If I can get it to keep flying in a small circle I'll try to get a PIF picture.

Also happy for the mods to merge threads if they wish (they would have anyway I suppose)!

Thanks to my secret santa for the very lovely Lens cloth :) which is something I don't have (though I do now have two, thanks to another santa). I am always loosing them so it is VERY handy :D and pretty huge too :thumbs:

So yeah cheers Santa (aka Woodsy - thanks to postmark, clue and admitting it)

Thanks to my Secret Santa for the rocket blower and lens cloth. I've no idea how you knew I needed a rocket blower but it's greatly appreciated. :thumbs:

I think everyone who has not got their gift yet should contact Santa via pm and let him/her contact the sender.
I would have thought that most of the gifts should have arrived by now.
 
Totally given up hope on this now, Royal Mail aren't that bad.

Its a shame that not everyone engaged in this with the same level of commitment, I know that nothing can be done about it, but I still feel cheated and the folks who didn't honour the transaction should be named.:nono:

Personally I think this should be covered by the same rules as other trades in the forum.

Irrespective I would like to thank the Secret Santa for their hard work.:clap:
 
Aw, thats awful :( What are the chances it was actually lost though? But I still think Santa should tell you who it was.
 
Sorry to hear that you didn't get yours. May be Santa can get in touch with your respective Secret Santa and see what's happened, and why you didn't get it.

Still, it's awful that you didn't get it .. really not in the spirit of the season.

But its not worth the hassle, the 'season of good will' is over and theres always the Easter Bunny,:D. They may bring me something.
