Been directed here by Mint, i too run www.jdmtas.com (japanese track and street) and have been in to photography for about 3 years
Started off with a Sony P200 and upgraded to a Canon 350d. Just recently ordered a Canon 40d which i should get this week.
With the 350d i have been using the standard kit lens aswell as Sigma 28-70mm and 70-300mm, ive found them to be fine for what i use them for.
