Sincere apologies if this has been asked many time before - have looked around and couldn't seen anything but please direct me to any former post/thread.

I use Photoshop CS3 in a very basic way mainly using auto functions. I add my signature as text - nothing fancy - but I have to do it to every photo. Is there a way to automatically add it without having to type it out in a text layer every time?

I've tried reading the help and googling this but I don't understand what they mean as they use 'technospeak'.

So could someone explain it in very simple terms - thanks.

You can do it by writing a Photoshop action. Google should come up with how to do it.
After you have created the action, create a droplet and then drag and drop your files onto it, all will then have your copyright info pasted onto each picture, although you may have to write 2 actions, one for uprights and one for landscape pics.

Oh thank you so much - I have just recorded a simple action and assigned it to a key which does what I want to do for the moment, I will look into the teardrop later - really appreciate your help.

You could use Script Writer and create your own copyright script that way. There is a link in my sig.
