Hi All

I need to use tethered shooting this sunday, Im trying to get it to work with this software but nothing seems to work when I turn camera on etc....

Can any one help me out as Im desperate to get this working.

Or if theres any other free software that works with the D700.\

Hi Dominic

I use this app on my macbook with my D90 and it's quite 'fussy' about what is started up first.

I'll need to check this but the steps I do are
1) connect the USB cables onto the macbook and camera
2) start the app up
3) start the camera up

Go through the preferences for configuring where to save the images.
Let me know how it goes.

So how do I set this up? Sorry to ask but Im going to have to download the trail and test it in my hotel room tonight. :D Oh and it will be on a mac book but its a earlier model than 10.5 so most software dont work. Any help would be great.

+1 for Sofortbildapp (or Nikon App as I've renamed it).
Works well and is simple enough for me.

Holy thread revival i know :D

So does anyone use this for tethered shooting to a laptop, i want to try tethered in a couple of weeks for a project i have, never done it before, so any feedback would be helpful.
