Testing a lens with coating marks

How would you go about doing this? I have B&W, C41 and a roll of E6 Velvia at my disposal, any particular test shots I should try with certain settings to try and help establish whether it makes any difference to the image?
 
Ahh, okay. So coating marks would appear as a problem with flaring? Unfortunately I have no lens hood to ensure it's only the lens and not a hood problem as well though...
 
Basically you will struggle to make anything show up in a print. I've got lenses full of fungus, scratches,full on chips in elements and not one shows any fault in the results.
 
Don't get me wrong, I know that the chances are it'll have no effect - I just wanted to know if there was a practical way to measure it.
