Tesco vouchers at Jessops

Don't think this has been posted before!
Those of you that shop at the devils dungeon that is Tesco, if you collect clubcard points, you can exchange them online for double their value to spend at Jessops.
ie. £10 in Tesco vouchers turns to £20 Jessops vouchers.
i used mine to buy a Giottos ball head, and cokin filter kit:thumbs:
Has to be exchanged in minimum £5 vouchers.
All is explained on the website.

My wife got a rather nice Panasonic Lumix bridge camera, already reduced by £170 and then paid for using Tesco clubcard points/Jessops vouchers.

So essentially a free camera because we would have had to buy the shopping anyway

Good idea to remind people about this deal and didn't realise the offer had been going that long

Wow, I ve got few of these vouchers around here somewhere. Time for a good search :thumbs:
 
Be aware that when using these you can't use the Tesco vouchers for online purchases.

In addition, I orderd £200 worth of Jessops vouchers to put towards a Sigma 10-20 (Canon fit) and when I took them into the Cardiff store was told I couldn't use them for this lens as it was reduced already. Apparently if your intended purchase has any discount of the 'normal' price then you can't use the vouchers.

No problem as I mentioned above using them on a reduced item, just unlucky with that particular shop I reckon
 
And I think that's The biggest frustration with Jessops; Different experience and rules/decisions in each shop.

I've just ordered £70 worth of Jessops vouchers through Tesco to put towards a Sigma 50mm f/1.4. When I looked online at Jessops it says no collect at store available for this lens, and you can use the Tesco/Jessops vouchers online.

Is there a way around this like getting them to order it for home delivery in the store and paying them in store or will I just not be able to go for that lens with the vouchers?

Any help welcome.

Best ask at your local store if they'll do it.

The vouchers are for store use only, I'd go in to your local store to buy it and when you find out they don't have any, see if they'll order you one in to store so you can collect and pay

I emailed Jessops and explained that the lens I want is not available as reserve and collect and they said I can take the vouchers into store and get then to order one in for me so I can use the vouchers.

Still awaiting the vouchers but hopefully it'll go to plan.

Thank for that. I am in a very similar situation. As soon as I get my vouchers I will go to my local Jessops and get them to order the lens for me :thumbs:
 
Thanks for posting this, I didn't realise you could use them at Jessops but I do now !.
 
It's a lottery with Jessops as to what service you will get also with prices, they have some bargains from time to time but mostly they are expensive.
 
Just to update the thread, I went into Jessops Manchester and ordered the lens (Sigma 50mm f/1.4) and no problem at all, so far. It's a special order item so it can take up to 28 days but I already knew that from the website.
 
Another update, been to Jessops Brighton and had no problem swapping my vouchers with a new lens :)
 
Nice, all the more reason for me to actually shop where I work :D
