Hi

Just wondering if anyone is on tesco mobile, I know they piggy back O2, but was wondering if anyone is on them, what is your experience ??

Daughters phone is due for renewal shortly and they're offering a better deal than O2 for her needs

Cheers
A

Hi, both our sons are on tesco mobile, one is PAYG and the other on a sim only contract. Tesco have been very good and sorted any problems out very quickly (1 son is good at losing phones). We have been with them for about 5 years!

I have tesco mobile too, check your signal, we live in an awful mobile reception area and it's ok but does drop alot, the customer service is good but it is only as good as who you speak to,I was left without a phone for a week when I changed sim, but they sorted it ok,

Check out the family bundles I can apparently get a second phone with 750 mins for £7.50

Their ok but I have been looking at the new O2 payg and giff gaff, which piggy back of O2 as well

I use GiffGaff at the moment and a very good deal it is as well

Also as has been mentioned they use the O2 network

Thanks for the replies.

She's currently on O2, so should be the same network coverage for her. Will have a look at what offers are out there ...

Just an update, swapped to Tesco sim, more minutes, similar (5000) texts that she was getting, but cheaper and on a month only contract now, so if she decides she fancies a new phone in the future, no long wait to upgrade (if it's with someone else).

Tesco's 12 month sim plan was the same price, but gave extra minutes - which she wouldn't use, so the 1 month rolling plan was a better option for her. No issues with the network and O2 customer service were very helpful with transferring her number. I was very impressed with O2 and if they could have got near the price I would have stayed with them...

I use Tescos on PAYG. Never had a problem. I did wonder if the reception would be good as they are piggy backing on O2 and I assumed O2 would look after their own customers first, but had no problem in north Shetland earlier this year.
