Have found an iPhone 5s 16Gb for £20 a month. This is pretty good I think. Ive always said I'll upgrade from my 4S once I can find one for under £25.

So has anyone ordered a mobile from Tesco Direct online? And was it all fairly painless? Can I carry over my number? Cant see anything on website about how to do this.

Is there anyway when upgrading to cancel my current monthly payment (not on contract) to 02 to coincide with starting the new one with Tesco? Or do I just have to lump the inevitable overlap where I'm paying for two?

Cheers all.

Normally you can call your existing supplier (O2) as to cancel the contract and request a MAC code to transfer your number. The contract should be cancelled when you get your MAC code, which you then supply to your new phone provider so that they will assign the number to a new SIM.

No issues at all with Tesco - it uses O2 network as well so will be as good as you are used to.

Very easy to move your number over and I've found there customer service very helpful.

Amazon appears to offer £18.50 pcm with O2 here:

Is there a catch I can't see? Some of the answers to questions are a bit odd but I think they have come from other products as usual on Amazon.
I feel they must be returns but it does not say so.
