Terminal . . . ?

Went to use the point & shoot (Canon powershot A85) today & this is what I could see in the view finder and what it took. Any clues or do I just scrap it?

That looks pretty ****ed to me!!! have you tried taking the battery out for a while and trying again??

Have you had a shower with it? Dropped it? Dog had a chew on it??

Looks pretty borked to me.

I doubt it'll be economical to repair either.
